Project Pehchan: Access to Healthy, Access to Opportunity

Systemic Challenges: A Call For Change

Missing Legal Identities

Many children, youth, and families in Trilokpuri lack essential documents like Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, and birth certificates. Without these, they cannot access basic services like education, healthcare, and social protection schemes.

Migrant Communities Left Behind

Most residents are migrants from other states, unfamiliar with the legal processes required to integrate into urban systems. This leads to generations growing up without formal identification or support.

Gaps in Awareness and Access

There is little to no awareness about how to obtain these documents or which authorities to approach. As a result, even those eligible for government schemes remain excluded due to administrative and informational barriers.

From Documentation to Dignity

With Project Pehchan, our mission is to ensure that every individual—especially children, youth, and women in marginalized communities—has access to legal identity and the government support they are entitled to.

By bridging information gaps and facilitating vital documentation like Aadhaar, birth certificates, and bank accounts, we empower people to step out of invisibility and into opportunity.
